1. Agreement

By accessing Story Hive and purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Story Hive is operated by Anthony Obeng Afrane, Christiansborg Castle, Osu, Accra, Ghana.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information at registration. Fake accounts will be deleted.
• One account per person. You may not share login credentials.

3. Purchases & Pricing

• All prices are in Ghana Cedis (GH₵) and include applicable taxes.
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Prices are fixed at the time of your purchase.
• Payment is processed by Paystack, which accepts MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money, Visa, and Mastercard.
• Your order is confirmed only when payment is successfully verified. A confirmation email will be sent.

4. Digital Books & Access

• Upon verified payment, digital books are added to your "My Books" library within minutes.
• Digital access is granted to your account only. You may not share, transfer, or resell your access.
• You may read your books on any device by logging into your Story Hive account.
• We reserve the right to withdraw access if these terms are violated.
• Physical books are delivered by post or courier to the address you provide.

5. Intellectual Property

• All books, articles, and content on Story Hive are protected by the Ghana Copyright Act 2005 (Act 690) and international copyright law.
• Purchasing a book grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the content for your own private use.
• You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, translate, adapt, broadcast, or create derivative works from any content without written permission.
• Story Hive, its logo, and visual identity are trademarks of Anthony Obeng Afrane.
• Images on this site are either owned by Story Hive, licensed, or used with permission. If you believe any content infringes your copyright, contact us at info@storyhivegh.com.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose under Ghanaian or international law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download book content.
• Post false, defamatory, or misleading reviews or comments.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or the admin dashboard without authorisation.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the website at scale.

7. Electronic Transactions (Ghana ETA 2008)

In accordance with the Ghana Electronic Transactions Act 2008 (Act 772): this website constitutes an electronic transaction platform. Contracts formed through this website are legally binding. Electronic signatures, records, and communications have the same legal effect as paper equivalents under Ghanaian law.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• The website is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this site.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury, or anything else that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
